Casey & Ryan

Each wedding I have had the opportunity to shoot this past year, has been such a privilege. We are very close to starting a new year, so I decided to look over my “goals list” that I wrote for 2015. My number one goal for 2015 was to venture into the world of wedding photography and photograph three weddings. I was blown away when I had five weddings on the schedule by February! Eventually five turned into seven, and that’s not even counting the others that I already have lined up for 2016. My heart is completely filled with gratitude!

I consider it a double blessing when I get to photograph my friends getting married. Casey and Ryan’s beautiful barn-inspired wedding was the perfect way to end the Autumn season. This talented couple and their families transformed a basic event hall into a barn. It was incredible and inspiring.

If I could give Casey & Ryan one word that comes to mind when I think of them, it would be authentic. They are completely genuine toward one another, and everyone they come into contact with. I feel so lucky to know them. Thank you both again for allowing me to have a part in your day. It was lovely.

  1. […] These lovely humans invited me into their home (their first home together) and I am so grateful for the opportunity. They are currently in the process of completely gutting the house and remodeling it. I am filled with admiration for these two.  I loved the idea of shooting their session in their uncompleted house. It gave me the opportunity to be creative in using surrounding elements that I’m not used to. Plus, how cool for their (someday) kiddos to be able to look at these images of their parents at the beginning of their journey together, chasing their dreams, and being completely in love. Thank you, Casey & Ryan!  […]
